Parenting Support
Parenting can be challenging in so many ways yet rewarding beyond belief. Parenting at any stage of development can expose you to issues that may warrant additional expertise and support. We can help you understand what is developmentally appropriate behavior and help you to determine the parenting techniques that will most likely yield the best results based on your child(ren)’s specific needs.
Adolescence is a challenging stage of development that involves transitioning through biological, physiological, and cognitive changes. Parenting an adolescent child, especially a “strong-willed” child, is even trickier. We can help equip you with practical skills and interventions to help bring about positive change. Our services are especially tailored to meet the needs of those parenting students in grades 6-12. We can equip you to better address issues, such as arguing, family conflict, poor school performance, truancy, media influences, sexual involvement, drug or alcohol use, negative peer relationships, teen violence, bullying, and runaways. Having the right tools and support makes all the difference!
